I met Ryan during the 2017 StrongFirst SFG1 Certification, but I was well aware of him and Axistence Athletics years before. He is a (bearded) man of many hats. We go over how he grew up in Missouri, joined the Navy, got involved in fitness coaching and pursuing a lot of further education.
He and Dan are celebrating 6 years of running a very welcoming gym that fosters community, education and outdoor adventure. That is why he is on this podcast. He teaches his members to train for outdoor adventures and even hosts outdoor retreats.
