Welcome to Day 6 of Hope Has Come. Today we explore a beautiful moment of recognition and rejoicing, when an unborn John the Baptist leaped in his mother's womb at the presence of the unborn Christ. Our scripture today comes from Luke 1:41: "When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit." There's something wonderfully intimate about this moment between two women, two cousins, each carrying children of promise. Elizabeth's baby recognized the presence of the Messiah even before birth, responding with spontaneous joy. This was no ordinary kick or movement - it was a Spirit-filled recognition of divine presence.
