Welcome to Day 13 of Hope Has Come. Today we focus on the angel's extraordinary announcement to the shepherds - words that changed everything with their beautiful specificity and profound implications. Our scripture today comes from Luke 2:11: "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." Let's pause on each word of this magnificent announcement. "Today" - not someday, not in some distant future, but now. God's promise was being fulfilled in real time. "In the town of David" - fulfilling prophecy with geographic precision. "A Savior" - naming humanity's deepest need. "Has been born to you" - making it personally applicable. "He is the Messiah, the Lord" - declaring His identity and authority.
