Welcome to Day 10 of Hope Has Come. Today we reflect on the challenging journey Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem, a journey that fulfilled ancient prophecy and teaches us about trusting God's timing and purposes. Our scripture today comes from Luke 2:4: "So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David." Consider this journey - approximately 90 miles from Nazareth to Bethlehem. For a young woman in her ninth month of pregnancy, this wasn't just inconvenient; it was arduous and potentially dangerous. Yet within this difficult journey lay the fulfillment of prophecy and the unfolding of God's perfect plan.
