Welcome to this weekend’s Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard. If you are here for the first time, thank you for joining us. We are thrilled that you want to be part of this celebration. If you are a part of our regular extended family then welcome back! As a church we are now continuing in our celebration of Advent with our series ‘Worthy’’. Advent is a very special season in the life of the church, where in the midst of all the busyness of our last-minute preparations for Christmas, we pause to remind ourselves of what lies at the heart of this season – our celebration of the arrival of the Messiah, both 2000 years ago and as we await His return! Today, not only will we be lighting the fourth candle on our Advent Wreath but Susie Wiltshire will be bringing the final message in the ‘Worthy’ series with a message called ‘Celebrating in the Dark.’ A message that reminds us that Jesus is worthy of our celebration - even when things are hard and the world seems dark. This message focuses on Elizabeth’s celebration in the dark, along with the shepherds praising God. We hope that you enjoy worshipping and celebrating with us today and, we pray that today would be a blessing for us all.
