Ep# 270 - Students Share Their Love and Rave - An Inspiring Chat with Some of My Students
The theme for Empowering Chats with Susan Burrell for the year of 2024 is BE Potential.  And each month we are focusing on a different aspect of rising to your Potential. For the month of March, we are focusing on what it means to reach for your potential. Some of the keywords that support this theme include, power, purpose and recognizing our own worth.
And so, in this episode I talk about acceptance of who we are and how we show up in the world. For me personally, 2024 has been a remarkable year so far. I have stepped back into teaching classes and it has been profound for me as a teacher. I feel I am stepping into my full potential as a Master Teacher.
My Intention when I teach is to create sustainable transformation so that when people go out into their world they have the skill sets and tools they need in order stay centered and continue on their path of transformation.  I always try to create a very safe container for students to feel grounded in their sharing and in their transformation.
In the first quarter of 2024, I offered a Light Leader 5-Day workshop and I am now getting ready to offer a 6-week class entitled, “Energy in Motion.”
I invited 3 of my students, who are all beautiful shining lights, to share their experience of taking a class with me.
These women graciously said yes to my invitation. Much of what they shared touched me deeply, and included the following.
From Karen: “I have opened up so I can now move into an unknown direction and be at purpose with what is going on now in the world . . . and doing the exercises in the workshop has given me the courage to really face myself.”
From Laurie: “I’ve been on a journey these last 5 years that have been very transformative for me. And it has been hard for me to accept the unknown, to allow and trust myself.  The activities in Susan’s class allowed me to embrace all of it and trust it. And most importantly to be authentically me. This has been a hugely impactful experience for me that I would not trade for anything.”
From Lynn: “My first class with you Susan was in 2022 and I came into the class a skeptic. By the end of the class, I learned to open up to all possibilities and to connect with other souls. Your class was a gift to me. I put trust in you, as our teacher and it taught me to trust myself and to trust in the Universe.”
