Task Of The Day: Artist Playlists
Create and curate a playlist of influences and similar artists - this will be your RIYL playlist. Start with 70% mainstream artists within your genre and include 30% local artists and artists of your general level clout in the industry. We will update this often and include it in the marketing plan to drive engagement with these artists and bring in new fans. Be sure to include each new single as they release in the 3rd or 4th spot.
Inspiration: Bring The Army
Stop showing up to the gates alone asking the gatekeepers to let you pass through. Show up to the gates with an army, demanding that the gates be open or else you'll tear the gates down. Bring this kind of energy to the gates and the gatekeepers will happily open the gates and welcome you through.
