In this episode of Emerging ______, we explore the idea of social media's rising prevalence as we have grown as adults. On October 5, 2021 the social media blackout of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp had worldwide implications. Social media gives unlimited opportunities for freedom of expression and growth; but also perpetuates the idea of a "highlight reel" of our lives.
