Episode Synopsis
Because I believe self-awareness is so important, I use a tool with my clients that is somewhat of a "magic wand" so to speak. It's a very simple but highly effective tool, called "The Model". This Cognitive Behavior Therapy tool was created in a very simplistic way by Master Certified Life Coach, Brooke Castillo that helps see that everything we create in our lives is the result of what we think and how we feel. For me, the model is like a puzzle, that, when all the pieces are found and put together just right, a beautiful picture is revealed. Each part of the model are the pieces that build upon each other, in order to reveal what it is your brain is thinking and feeling in relation to the circumstances in your life. In this episode I will explain each of the 5 components of this model: Circumstances ThoughtsEmotionsActionsResultsAnd how they all work together to reveal the big picture of what your brain is creating for you right now. And that can be magical, because when you see what you are creating with your thoughts, feelings, and actions, you can change those things to create what you really want in your life.
