A simple idea explodes from my mind,
I go over the plan,
seems a good idea,
deep down I know it isn’t.



I put on my jacket,
I put on my shoes,
and I open the door,
with an anxious fear clouding my thoughts.



I pick up speed as I walk,
my heart seems to mimic this,
voices in my head scream to me,
I thrust aside these voices in anticipation.



I wait at the dying tree,
it's branches intimidate me like the talons of a vulture.
