A year ago, we were coming off of a down year in the US stock market, with the incessant rumors of a recession still persisting. The feeling going into 2023 was gloomy, with no one really expecting or predicting much out of the markets other than negativity. And the main reason for that, if you’ll remember, is we were grappling with the roaring beast called inflation.
