Listen "Identity - Part 1 - Identity Politics"
Episode Synopsis
Hola and welcome to the first of THREE episodes on Identity. Duh duh duhhhh. This week, we’re defining Identity Politics, asking why it exists, and discussing whether it’s important.
Reminder that Eggshells is now released fortnightly! If you miss us on the week off, why not go to the website and sign up for our newsletter? www.theeggshellspodcast.com
Please kindly note (for all episodes but this one especially): in Eggshells, we aim to include something for everyone. However, we’re here talking about identity as cisgendered, white, middle class, non-disabled females. If your identities are different from ours we hope you’ll still get something from this, but we understand we won’t have travelled far enough outside our own lens. We’re pleased to welcome guests who have other identities, and we may make more episodes, with more guests with other identities, on this topic (beyond those scheduled in the coming weeks!).
