At the age of seventeen, after a life-shattering event that left him standing before a Pinellas County judge who pronounced a sentence of 25 years to life, he was forced to let go of his youth and freedom.
Joseph E. Dames, III decided that he would not take being a free man for granted. Rather than get caught up in a lifestyle that would have landed him back in prison, Joseph decided to turn his life around, and now shares his journey in hopes to inspire, impact, and positively influence young adults and former inmates.
