Episode Synopsis
The letter to the church at Smyrna (Rev. 2:8-11) reveals both the sovereignty of Christ and the suffering of the church. We see how Christ's sovereign control of all things is compatible with the tribulation and suffering of His people. This episode will be followed by a final study on this letter which will solve any apparent contradiction by showing that this compatibility arises from the "sufficiency of God's grace".
