Missouri's junior senator has been campaigning across the country for former President Donald Trump (R) and will be in south Florida tonight with Mr. Trump. U.S. Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Missouri) joined us live this morning on 939 the Eagle's "Wake Up Mid-Missouri" to discuss the election. Senator Schmitt tells listeners that the presidential election will come down to Pennsylvania and possibly Wisconsin, and Schmitt thinks former President Trump will win. He also says his colleague, U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley (R) will be re-elected by double digits today over Democratic nominee Lucas Kunce. One of Mr. Kunce's criticisms of Senator Hawley is that he's not bringing home federal funding like former U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R) did. Senator Schmitt describes that ad as false. Schmitt also predicts Republicans will win Senate seats tonight in Montana and Ohio and possibly some other hotly-contested races. Schmitt tells listeners that he believes Republicans will have 52-55 Senate seats in January. He also discussed a high-profile race for circuit judge in mid-Missouri's Boone and Callaway counties:
