Episode Synopsis

In preparation of the 2023 History Book Festival in Lewis Delaware, thanks to the coordination of the Lewes Book store Biblion and Author Traci Todd, Woodbridge High School students (Kelly, Aida, Chelsea, Brooke, Bryce, and Gabby) had a chance to sit down with Children's Nonfiction Editor/Author Traci N. Todd following her visit to Phills Wheatley Elementary School. Students found a range of topics to connect with Ms. Todd's own experiences as a writer. Traci N. Todd is a children’s book editor and writer whose work centers on Black culture and social justice. The History Book Festival is made possible thanks to the Schell families, Biblion and Browseabout Book stores, Delaware Humanities, iHeart Media, The Lee Ann Wilkinson Group, Delmarva Public Media, and Print Coast 2 Coast to name a few of the many sponsors. Please see the History Book Festival site to see all the many partners to allow this event to occur. https://www.historybookfestival.org/festival-partners
