A 'drone testing range', formally known as the UAS Flight Test Range is on target to have the first UAS in the air in October of this year! A potential game changer for the Australian drone ecosystem, it's going to allow the testing of UAS in a cost-effective, purpose built, industry focused facility in the Queensland town of Cloncurry.
