Listen "Daliesha Murray - If I Face the Pain, I Will Move Past It"
Episode Synopsis
Purpose of Design is so excited to welcomes Daliesha Murray, a follower of Christ, #-1 Best Selling Author, and motivational-speaker.
Daliesha heard her supervisor one day talking about Les Brown, the legendary speaker and up until then she hadn’t followed him or knew much about him. She was convinced from the way her superior talked about him, and she did some due diligence and searched him. She decided to type in “Yes!” to a Les Brown offer.
Our lovely guest was willing to go ask for help and borrow money from her dad, and she was willing to make the investment, show up, put her hand up and speak at a summit with Les Brown which he described as a “mic-drop” moment. Don’t ever let doubt cloud your future - look at Daliesha and where she is at today. Listen to God’s subtle voice!
Ms. Murray delves into her backstory and what brought her to where she is today. She came from a very different background before she was a power-house. She was timid, and had self-love issues. She recalls looking in the mirror and just seeing pain - tears rolling down her face asking herself, “Why am I here?”
This was caused by damaging words, and she touches on how we need to hold our tongues and choose to speak life. When we are wronged, we need to understand that hurt people hurt people. It often has nothing to do with us, but of the accuser.
Daliesha teaches us that a person and their words do not dictate how you should think about yourself. You can reach out to Daliesha many different ways below in the Links.
