In this commencement sermon of a new Doxology series on Ephesians, “Brought Together in Christ,” John Campbell teaches through the structure and purpose of the letter through Ephesians 1:1-14. Ephesians is written in two parts: the story of the Gospel in Chapters 1-3 and the story of God’s people in Chapters 4-6, and this first chapter sets the focus on the meaning of blessing. Paul’s ultimate message through this first chapter, and the chapters to come, of Ephesians is this: our God who is blessed has blessed us in Christ to glorify Him and join in His work of reconciliation.
