Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 - Joey Tomassoni

We can listen to Ecclesiastes 3 as a popular 1960’s tune that tickles the ear in theory.  The difficulty comes in the rest of the chapter when appointed times arrive and disrupt our carefully curated and (seemingly) controlled lives. Longing for things to go the way they ought to is part of our image bearing nature (eternity in our hearts)- there should be peace, but then we read “there is a time for war” or we should never stop trying, but then we read “there is a time to give up.” Join us this Sunday as Joey walks us through Ecclesiastes 3 to discover the challenges of thinking we are the keepers of time and the incredible freedom that comes from seeing through the situations to a God who has appointed everything in every season for His purposes.
