Listen "Phillip Chua- Naturopath"
Episode Synopsis
DONT miss this informative chat about food, trying to conceive, postpartum and of course HOMEBIRTH.
Phillip is a degree qualified naturopath with over a decade of experience in clinical practice.
I have a special interest in supporting people to improve their digestive health and this passion has led me to follow extensive training in this space.
As a GAPS (Gut and Psychology syndrome) practitioner, I understand that food education is an important step in being well, as the food that we choose to eat every day is what heals and support our bodies to thrive.
When changing foods in the home it often means that I work with the whole family (within the same home as well as across generations). Our food and nutritional needs change over our lifespan and having an understanding on how to adjust (from first foods for bubs to special health needs) is a vital part of clinical practice.
My wife and I have two wonderful boys (4 and 1) and I see that being a dad is my most important job in life.
I find this work really empowering as it means that once clients have learnt what works for them, they can go out and be the example in the community. I believe that when people are healthier that they are more able to make better choices for themselves and their communities.
