Orson Pratt’s Conversion: Orson Pratt was baptized by his brother Parley after fervent prayers and repentance in 1829.


Revelation from Joseph Smith: Orson received a revelation from Joseph Smith, which he initially felt unworthy to write down.
Command to Prophesy: The revelation commanded Orson to lift up his voice and prophesy by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Apostleship: Orson was chosen as an Apostle in 1835 and dedicated his life to preaching repentance until his death in 1881.
