Born & raised in Brooklyn NY, Brian is the co-founder, producer, DJ and graphic designer of the record label deepa GROOOVES. Every facet of his life has been devoted to the feeling, attitude and deep mentality of house music culture. As a DJ, Brian's mix of soulful highs and deep-tech thumps can bring a crowd to near-rapture while maintaining tight rhythms and perfect harmonies. Burnside has deejayed at some of the most well-known parties in NYC and has been infecting the West Coast as well. The Deepa production team has released pure dance floor dynamite with remixers including Quentin Harris, Atjazz, Charles Webster, Abicah soul Jay-J, Scott Wozniak and fish go deep. As well as his own touches of deep tech house mixes. Brian has also collaborated on remixes for other record labels such as Liberate Recordings , Open Bar Music & Anthem Facility/Trace. Out west, Brian has joined forces with Alix Alvarez, David Harness, Gene Hunt, Lars Behrenroth, Eric Tucker, West Coast Soul Events, Soul Camp/Sf, After After With Jayvi Valesco, & Mars Bar. Brian burnside recently teamed up with DJ/producer Nef Nunez and started a bi-monthly residency at the Cardiff lounge called 4loorplan in San Jose, Ca.
