Super highly recommend. National Gallery of Art - they have an impressive collection, are a well-run organization, and [usually] have a delicious gelato bar.National Museum of the American Indian - I love this museum on the mall; the food is great and the way the present a complicated story is exceptional.Smithsonian's National Zoo - it's smaller than you think, the layout isn't great, but I love pandas, and if you want to see pandas, you need to go here!United States Holocaust Memorial Museum - this place should be required for everyone in the country to witness.There are plenty of places to go, but those are a few highlights.
