Through the efforts of many community members the center opened it's doors to the first child in 2000.Our vision is to ensure justice and healing for child abuse victims and their families in Western Nebraska. CAPstone offers a child friendly and family-oriented center for victimized children.Our goals are to reduce the trauma suffered by a child during an investigation; to increase successful prosecution of the child abusers; and to assume a proactive approach to child abuse prevention through education, training, and networking.The Center features state-of-the-art video and audio equipment to ensure quality recording of interviews.
