My guest on the podcast this week is the owner of Cobb PR, Tim Cobb. Tim has been an influential and inspirational figure within the Sussex business community for nearly 3 decades. I was fortunate enough to meet him at the start of my business journey in Sussex when he came in for a traditional wet shave at the salon, some 11 years ago to help me launch the shave academy. I was grateful for his support then as much as I am today.This is an inspiring story of someone that had two dreams, to work in Fleet Street and work for himself. Tim shares his journey of how he got to Fleet Street and started his own PR Agency that has been running for nearly 30 years, both dreams achieved, whilst maintaining his core values. We discuss some of the challenges he has faced over the past 30 years of running a business as well as his personal battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He talks openly about a dark period after his initial diagnosis, but how a shift in attitude and mindset and with support from people around him, he tackles the battle with positivity and continues to inspire those around him.
