Comfort in itself is not bad. In its proper place, it is good! However, it becomes wrong when it becomes the main driving force of our decisions and actions.Jesus tells us, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." -Luke 9:23 (ESV) Our life is not meant to be a pursuit of comfort, but a commitment to take up our cross daily - in whatever form that may be. It's about doing what's hard but necessary. It's about burning our bridges, moving forward to where God leads, and living our calling.
