Finally Samson told Delilah his secret. She knew that if his hair was cut he would lose his strength. After he fell asleep, someone cut off his seven braids. He woke up, thinking he would be able to get free, but the Lord had left him. The Philistines took him prisoner. Then they had a big party in the temple of their god who they called Dagon. Samson was called out of prison, so they could laugh at him. But Samson leaned on the two central pillars of the temple. Samson asked God if he could die with the Philistines, and God granted him strength one more time. He pushed, and the whole temple came falling down, killing him, and the thousands of Philistines that were there.
