Let's Goo!!We are in the second part of this series, "Just The Essentials". Again, we explore how God often asks us for the essentials—faith, obedience, and movement—rather than grand gestures or an abundance of resources. Drawing from the story of Gideon in Judges 6, we see how God made Gideon tear down the idols that were being worshiped and exalted, PRIOR to getting to the reason he was called / the assignment he was given. Making room, and tearing down any and all forms of idolatry is essential to creating the capacity needed to fulfill the assignment God has given us. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you may not see. Ask Him to show the idols of your family. Ask Him for the articulation needed to identify them and tear them down.
