Kendra Jackson-Smith, MSN, RN is a career woman that gives God glory and her daughter credit for her accomplishments. After getting pregnant at the age of 19, and not knowing what to do with her life, she decided to become a CNA. After finding a passion and a love for helping people she climbed the career ladder while managing her household to go on to earn a certificate in practical nursing in 2010, an associate's degree in nursing in 2013, a bachelor's degree in nursing in 2016 and a masters degree in nursing specializing in education in 2018. Doctorate tbd... Kendra and her daughter shayli have been best friends throughout this time of development together. Homework, travel, accomplishments, defeats, they have both experienced together and have grown every step. Even when life gets a little lonely on both ends, our best days remind us why God has us in this season and to take everyday as a blessing.
Kendra is going  to take us through her  journey of being a career woman while being a single mom! (Temporarily)
