Episode Synopsis

Navya Voleti '13 is a first-year internal medicine resident physician at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She completed a 7-year bachelor of science / doctor of osteopathic medicine (BS/DO) at the New York Institute of Technology. In this episode, Navya shares that in high school, she felt overwhelmed and was worried about her college outcomes. She knew she wanted to be a doctor but was burdened with imposter syndrome. While Bronx Science was a challenging experience for her, she looks back on it with appreciation and gratitude.
