There is a recurring theme in scripture – God’s comfort cascades on us when we are suffering. Do we see it? Do we feel it? Often not. Yet – it’s true. He hears us and is near. It isn’t dependent on our faith, it is God who keeps us from falling, from failing; whose words of hope and truth resound in our spirit as we wonder where He is. I’m here, He says. I’m in this with You. I have not left. If you are suffering – be assured- you are not alone.
