After experiencing chronic pain in college, Taunya was diagnosed with a motility disorder, which eventually led to major surgery and being told early on that she may not be able to have kids.
Taunya also discusses how her diagnosis and fertility journey has changed how she views individuals with disabilities, and how using a strength-based approach can shift one's perspective and mindset. She uses this approach to discuss the importance language has when talking about infertility.
