Episode Synopsis

The impact of infertility on mental health is huge, but is often not an area that is focused on due to stigma, lack of supports and feeling like other aspects of fertility are more important. But addressing your mental health, including stress, anxiety and depression, is such an important part of the process and should not be ignored.
In this episode, Emily is joined by Dr. Bev Young for a discussion on the safety of medications used to treat anxiety and depression and their impact during fertility treatments and pregnancy outcomes. Additionally, they chat about why you should not stop living and enjoying your life, even though it can often feel like you should while in the waiting period of your infertility journey.
