Michael has performed worldwide with groups like Rumbambola, Fruta Bomba, and Boi Akih. He has also released a solo CD called "Fora de hora" and authored the influential book "Blocos Afro." Michael continues to inspire and educate percussion enthusiasts through his YouTube channel, with around 50,000 followers.
