Jesus once asked, “When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth?” This highlights the importance of faith. Scripture teaches that faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the Word of God. However, this "hearing" is actually about "audience with God" not just mere hearing —it requires deep fellowship with God through study and prayer.At salvation, God gives everyone a basic measure of faith. Like a seed, faith must be cultivated to grow. The more developed a believers faith is, the more they can achieve. But faith will not grow automatic—it grows by exercising it.In Luke 17, Jesus taught His disciples about forgiveness, commanding them to always forgive no matter what. The disciples, overwhelmed, asked Him to increase their faith. Jesus replied that just as a mustard seed grows and becomes a great tree when planted, so it is with faith . His point: faith doesn't increase by askin for more, but by using the faith we already have.Luke 17:5–6 (TPT) says:5 “Upon hearing this, the apostles said to Jesus, ‘Lord, you must increase our measure of faith!’6 Jesus responded, ‘If you have even the smallest measure of faith, it would be powerful enough to say to this large tree, "My faith will pull you up by the roots and throw you into the sea," and it will respond to your faith and obey you.’”Faith grows through action. God won't increase our faith for us—it’s our responsibility. Like a mustard seed must be planted to grow, our faith must be exercised.Start putting your faith to work in everyday situations and watch it grow and accomplish great things in your life.God bless you, enjoy your day.
