Apparently, though Bougainvillea flourish on Lindos, Rhodes, they temporarily stop in the really hot summer months. My son and daughter in law's wedding in Lindos this past week was just in time to still take advantage of the blooms. They hadn't been aware of the significant timing when they chose their wedding date. The flowers were a stunning addition to the ambience of the venue and to the wedding photos. Isn't that a good reminder to allow God to lead us as He knows what is good timing and why? He leads us directly and indirectly in many different ways. It is a matter of being willing to be led and that does not take away our decision making. God leads us to make our own decisions. "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:15-16)
