Before a rabbit comes out of his rabbit hole, he is on full alert for potential danger. In the bible we are cautioned to do the same with the danger of Satan who is roaming around the earth, with his minions, looking for who he can control. He is roaring and accusing all day long, wanting people to fall for temptation, be fearful, guilty, ashamed etc. However, we can run to God for protection which He will provide but, not only that, the devil will eventually stop chasing us as the last thing he wants is for us to run towards God! "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith ...(1 Peter 5:8-9)
