Today I saw a thin wire with the sense that it was connecting an electrical device to a power source. Nowadays we often have wireless or bluetooth connecting short range devices. The point is to be connected. Similarly, God wants us to be connected to Him however fragile the connection, in that the relationship may be at an early stage or life so difficult that our faith is being really tested. God is not pleased for us when we have no faith or lose our faith in Him. "And without faith it is impossible to please Him .." (Hebrews 11:6). God so desires a connection with all of us so that you can listen to Him with your spiritual ears. Overarching all He tells us, are His words that He loves us. As with an unplugged, disconnected electrical appliance we cannot be used for our correct purpose in life, with God providing all we need for that purpose, unless we are plugged in to God.
