Listen "Feeling Of Dread"
Episode Synopsis
The reggae/dub mix was laid down using Blocs Wave, with added GarageBand FX over everything.
The vocals were done using Voice Synth, some on "normal" setting (so, my normal voice) some on "evil" setting or "announcer" setting, and double-tracked/staggered for effect.
The two guitar tracks were created using ThumbJam electric guitar played through two different metal guitar amps from Ampkit.
The whole track is a play on the use of the term "dread" as used in the word "dreadlocks". So, I was mixing reggae/dub sounds with metal in order to create an atmosphere of dread. Then I improvised some vox to reinforce that concept.
It won't appeal to many, but I don't care that much. I have fun creating these kind of tracks.
