Alexia has a different perspective being Afro/Asiatic/Italian mixed, and she brings that perspective while talking about life experiences. This book is not for the feint in heart as it deals with heavy laden issues in society. "Every." became a chant to Alexia she heard in a different state of consciousness, while in a hospital setting, and this has inspired the whole book from that experience.
