It’s voting season. With many American voters either standing in long lines to vote in person or properly filling out mail-in ballots, the election this year marks voting “firsts” for many. Since the voting days back when America was a new nation, there have been several attempts to use technology to make the voting process more secure, accurate, safe, and accessible. In this episode, I talk about voting equipment of the past and present, key legislations, and current innovations and efforts regarding voting technology.
