Jesus keeps her at arms length but her persistence, like that of St. John Vianney, will win the day. Do we let the obstacles in our way defeat us? Or can we continue to look for ways around, over or under them? And, like Jesus, are we able to recognize the presence of the Spirit coming at us through unlikely avenues?
