This episode brings forth the idea that time spent without any purpose is time spent in prison. Idle time does not necessarily mean purposeless time, however too much idle time may be a hint of undirected purpose. Just like how prisoners do not have anything to look forward to until their sentence ends, we can become prisoners of our own times too.
