CRO-AM Connections connecting with Croatian Americans through conversation and events to share our culture. The podscast is broken into three parts. The first part is aimed at understanding the guests family heritage or Croatian roots. The second part is about their activities in the Croatian community and how they are working to promote the Croatian culture. The third part is learning about their future aspirations and what their organization is doing with future events. In today's show we sit down with Nasja Boskovic Meyer. Nasja has a BA in Foreign Languages from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, she is a published poet, has been teaching the Croatian language and culture for almost 40 years and she was a prominent founder of the American Croatian Relief Project which became one of the leading groups in the US providing assistance to Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina which collected over 8 million dollars in aid money, food and medicine.
