Season 3, Episode 3, Fall Semester 2020On Sept. 27, 2010, Ann Weiss discussed Holocaust photos brought to Auschwitz, their meaning and their echo, with Jason Francisco, then Associate Professor of Visual Arts, an artist and photographer. Dr. Weiss is founder and director of the educational non-profit foundation Eyes from the Ashes, author, filmmaker and curator. Speaking from the 'inside' of the experience as a child of survivors, Weiss shares reflections about these photos, and what it means to preserve visual memory. Watch the original conversation.
