In this episode of Creative Guts, co-hosts Laura Harper Lake and Sarah Wrightsman talk with producer, playwright, director, actor, and dancer Najee Brown. Najee’s story is incredible — he moved to New Hampshire in fall 2019, trading New York City and his gall bladder for his wife and an opportunity at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth, NH.Najee helms the new Sol Series at the Seacoast Rep and this is where he’s unveiled his plays “Stokely and Martin” and “Naveah’s Brother”. Launched in January 2021, Sol Series is focused on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color narratives.
