Pastor Warren Graff leads Grace Lutheran Church in Albuquerque, and joins us to discuss the shroud of shame covering everyone touched by abortion, which he explains, is all of us.We discuss the case of a young mother who earlier this year dumped a baby in the trash in New Mexico, as well as the case of a child killed by a family member several years ago. Since New Mexico allows abortion through all nine months of pregnancy we could see abortion devaluing of life as a driver of such crimes. Pastor Graff calls us to think about what drives the abortion provider--who clearly knows the child is a living human being whom will be killed in the act of abortion. Since this is is, it becomes clear that abortion is about power, and the power of the strong over the weak.Genesis Chapter One provides insight into God's creation, and then in Chapter Two into God's plan for relationship between men and women.
