Start with forgiveness... Just because you're ready for a relationship with your child doesn't mean your child is ready. I think dad's have to stay with them selves first do you forgive yourself for not being around? Do you understand what your child went through because you were not around? Are you prepared to deal with your child blaming you? Have you forgiven yourself before you step in front of your child? There's so much to do for dads personally before they meet their kids, or reunited with their kids and I wanna talk about it.
