Greetings, Hive guys and girls from the #hivechess community. It's a pleasure to be here participating in my first tournament in this great chess community. My dear son @suisver invited me. He was very nervous because it was also his first chess tournament in Hive, and he's super excited.

I want to congratulate the tournament winners. It was a tough contest, with spectacular games and some great opponents who left you breathless. I really enjoyed the tournament. More than competing, I went to spend a different and enjoyable time with my son and, of course, spend time with my Hive friends and build community. Congratulations to everyone.



The Saturday tournament is called Saturday HiveChess S1R6 Arena. Truth be told, I haven't played chess in a while. I've played with my son on occasion because he, like me, loves the sport. I used to be a chess teacher years ago; however, I don't consider myself very good at it. Chess is a sport that requires practice, concentration, a lot of study, and a lot of time.

When I have free time, I play a game with my son, and it just so happens that today in the tournament I got to play with him, and it was a really fun time. We're both not very good at chess, but my son is more skilled than I am. But since he was nervous playing his first tournament, I took advantage of that weakness and gave him a beautiful checkmate.

He made many dangerous moves and neglected his queen and minor pieces, which allowed me to capture his queen and win quickly with an effective checkmate.

Saludos chicos de Hive y chicos de la Comunidad de #hivechess un placer estar por aquí participando en mi primer torneo en esta gran Comunidad de Ajedrez. Me invitó mi querido hijo @suisver, el cual por cierto estaba muy nervioso porque también es su primer torneo de ajedrez en Hive y anda super emocionado.

Quiero felicitar a los ganadores del Torneo, fue una pelea dura, hubo partidas espectaculares y unos buenos contrincantes que apenas te dejaban respirar. Disfruté mucho el Torneo. Mas que competir fui a pasar un rato diferente y muy ameno con mi hijo y por supuesto compartir con los compañeros de Hive y hacer comunidad. Felicidades a todos.



El Torneo de los sábados se llama Saturday HiveChess S1R6 Arena, a decir verdad tenía mucho tiempo sin jugar ajedrez, he jugado en ocasiones con mi hijo porque a él igual que a mí nos gusta este deporte. Hace años fui profesora de Ajedrez; sin embargo, no me considero muy buena. El ajedrez es un deporte de práctica, concentración, mucho estudio y dedicarle bastante tiempo.

Cuando dispongo de momentos libres juego alguna partida con mi hijo y casualmente hoy en el Torneo me tocó jugar con él y fue un momento muy divertido. Los dos no somos muy buenos jugando al ajedrez, mi hijo tiene más habilidades que yo; pero como estaba nervioso jugando su primer torneo, me aproveché de esa debilidad y le propiné un hermoso Jaque Mate.

Hizo muchos movimientos peligrosos y descuidó su dama y piezas menores, lo que me permitió capturar su dama y ganar rápidamente con un jaque mate efectivo.
